Deals: 20% Off Dishonored 2 (Steam) and LG 24-inch 4K FreeSync Monitor for $299
Its the weekend and if you’ve got nothing on the agenda, why not peruse some window shopping before the Black Friday storm? Noteworthy PC game deals includes just released Dishonored 2 at the typical 20% off price break courtesy of GMG. The game didn’t exactly fair well in the user reviews department due to the flurry of performance issue – which didn’t help when Bethesda came out with some settings suggestions that range from unhelpful to obvious (don’t set the game to settings your computer can’t handle). Despite this, the game continues to be a top seller on Steam Store and the gameplay draws little complaint. If you’re a Dishonored fan, the $47.99 deal from GMG will at least save you $12 vs full price.
Other PC game deals includes Ashes of Singularity: Escalation, which got some nice gameplay update making it a good pick for veteran RTS gamers. The DRM-free copy of Gone Home is now FREE (list price of $20) thanks to the developers offering it up for free on itch.io. Hotline Miami 2 is $3.74 again and finally Mafia III, another game with questionable performance is on sale “again” from 15% to 20% off, depending on the edition you pick. Personally we’ll wait for 30%+ discount now that we’re more than a month after release.
On the hardware side of things, there’s a very good deal on a LG 24-inch 4K FreeSync for only $299 at BuyDig. Make sure you use the coupon code “4KPRO” before checking out to get the price reduction. Other goodies includes an Intel Core i7-6700K for $300 flat (but you should see cheaper price during Cyber Monday), and a Radeon RX 480 for only $200. If you spot something dead below, let us know in the comments and we’ll update accordingly.
