Big Resident Evil 7 Price Cut & the GOG Summer Sale is Live

It’s been almost half a year since the January release of Resident Evil 7, and if you were hoping prices would come down, you’d be vindicated today. As part of a pre-summer sale deal, Resident Evil 7 has dropped 40% at GMG. Even better, there’s a drop on the Deluxe Edition which is only a 36% discount but a new low by $5. The Deluxe Edition includes both the game and its Season Pass – a solid value, especially considering the SP rarely goes on sale. Log in or create an account to see the full “VIP” savings at GMG.

DiRT 4 isn’t left out of the discount love at GMG, either. With an official PC worldwide release in two days on June 9, the title’s already a critical darling on PS4 and Xbox One, charting Metacritic scores of 83 and 91, respectively. GMG offers the upcoming PC version for 22% off, marking the price down from $60 to $47.79, plus you get the same pre-order bonus as you would buying full price on Steam.

Although we’re still a few weeks away from Steam’s big seasonal extravaganza, GOG has fired the first shots in the PC gaming Summer Sale war. Its 2017 Summer Sale is already live, featuring discounts on over 1,500 DRM-free titles. Headliners include an historic low price on The Witcher 3: GOTY, half priced Divinity: Original Sin, the newly released to DRM-free Dragon’s Dogma for $11.99, and Dragon Age Origins Ultimate Edition for $3.99.
