Let’s check out the VANSUNY 2TB PCIe 4.0 NVMe M.2 2280 Internal Solid State Drive. This unit advertises 7300 MB/s on the read and 6300 MB/s on the write… I’ll test that out and we’ll see how fast it is.
It comes with a very substantial heatsink that covers both the top and bottom of the unit for maximum head dissipation action. You better believe it (does anyone read this?).
It uses TLC NAND flash memory, which is more durable than the usually less espensive QLC… However, this drive is priced low enough that it’s much easier to recommend.
I’ll cover the controller, run some tests, and take a full look in the video.
