Microsoft has removed the easiest way to use an offline account. This will be enough to force most users to just comply… and set up an always online Microsoft account. This is the future. They do not want you to be able to use a PC without a permanent tether to their cloud. They want to feed you ads and harvest your data. It’s a bit bleak.

However, we can still use an offline mode using a couple different methods. Check out the video.

For the advanced method, here are the instructions:

Press Shift+F10 (some laptops require you to press Function(FN)+Shift+F10)
Then type this into the command prompt: oobebypassnro
