Interview: Stealth Machines - Custom Gaming Computers

Stealth Machines is a very small company started by a young dedicated individual who has a passion for building computers.  Back in 2004 Josef, the company's founder and an avid PC enthusiast and gamer, started building computers for friends and family.  Over time this blossomed into a strong business.  The only marketing they have done up until PAX East, Word of Mouth.

Take a look at their website.  There are only two options: "Gaming" and "Business"  There is no extra fluff.  It's straight to the point.

What impresses me the most about Josef, is he started this all when he was in High School.  Armed only with his doctorate in StarCraft, and enough closet space to act as his laboratory, he set out building computers and hasn't stopped for anything.

I'm thinking of looking him up next time I want to play StarCraft...

I've been thinking of starting a company like this for a while now, but I wasn't sure if something like that could even be successful. I'm looking for something a little more stable right now, but I guess something like this is always an option. I'm not sure I can match that 10 year warranty though, lol. That's a little ridiculous.

Hey Josef! Sorry it took a while to get this online. I've been traveling a lot. Also, there were a few games that were breaking news so we edited those first. I figured this would still be relevent after the show. Hopefully we can send some people your way. We're all fans here!

Let us know if you are going to be at any other shows and we will swing by.

Not bad! Site was pretty cool. Has all you really need. Is somewhat lacking in the mouse and keyboard department when doing the customization but thats not really a big deal since you can easily get a mouse and keyboard anywhere. Probably not going to buy a computer from them though. Just build my own gaming rig a month ago so I don't need to get another one.

Their top of the line system is a bit pricey at $6000.00

Kinda overpriced. But I mean as far as pre-built rigs go, not bad pricing, etc!
