lol I'm Canadian never heard that b4. Also I picked out that mobo for my build and I love it. Got it for $99 from NCIX after rebate. Antec 302 is a solid case for $50.

Fizzle Bomb? It's just Pop up here. Coke. Pepsi. Maybe the Newfies call it fizzle bombs, but they sniff gass and live in fishing boats so that's probably not an adequate sample of true Canadians.

Well after watching this video I thought since I have a HAF 922 with a Cooler Master 600W PSU just sitting empty I should fill it up. So I went with the AMD set up. I have gone with a Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 with the FX 6300. I kept the RAM the same with the GSkill RipJaw 2X8. I am going with my Crucial 128 SSD along with a WD 500GB Caviar Black. I upped the CPU cooler to the Cooler Master N520. The graphic card situation is not resolved yet as I do have a question for all under the GPU forum. I think this is my last build for a while as the missus is starting to question all the computers in the house.

Thanks for this build, I was looking for something good for a friend of mine who wants to get a gaming PC at a mid-range level.

I am planning on building a PC for about 1000 dollars with the i5 3570k. Should I get the Amd 7870 or the GTX 660??????????

I'm kinda mad that he found a Sapphire 7870 for $185. The least I ever saw it for was $190 after a $15 mail in rebate but this is 6 months old. I ended up going for the HIS 7870 for $220 because I was too impatient for the Sapphire to go back down. (It's $225 after the MIR now and I think the HIS is much better.)
