SteelSeries Diablo III Headset Review

Logan reviews at the SteelSeries Diablo III Headset. How do they sound?

I've been using these for a couple of weeks now. We shot a review video a while back, something happened and we lost files (oops)... We cut bits and pieces from the first review into this one. It's a little choppy but it should give you an idea as to how these are.

I am happy that I waited. I have been gaming, editing videos, and going through my music collection. I usually use  gaming headphones for a while but I always end up going back to my Sony studio headphones. However, these have a better frequency response range and much deeper bass. The studio headphones do seem to have more  clarity in the high frequency range but I have tweaked the eq and am very happy with the Diablo III Headset.

I tried several different settings with the mic until I found one that worked. I also found that it sounded a little better if I bent it away from my mouth a bit.

All-in-all, it's a solid headset. I'm listening to some metal on them now.

sound quality 9/10
comfort 9/10
build quality 8/10
features 9/10
mic 7/10
8.9 Overall Score

The 50mm drivers provide plenty of sound and decent bass.

They can get warm after a few hours of use. Also, the mic is not the best, but it is more than adequate for gaming.

I like how steelseries actually makes a good product with the name of something else instead of just using the name to sell stuff with crappy quality
