I am extremely happy to see an anatomically correct Lara Croft. I didn't spend much time with the other Tomb Raider games and the massive boobs were a major reason. It may sound silly, but I don't like to be treated like a slobbering male that gets excided over bouncy, pixelated boobs.
This trailer is insanely brutal. In fact, I am finding it somewhat unbelievable. She falls from quite a height and is impaled on a spike. She merely pulls it out and keeps going (thought she is limping while holding her side). She falls off of a ledge to a hard landing, is pistol whipped, set on fire, it's endless abuse throughout the entire trailer.
The game seems to have a darker tone. Toward the end, Lara is forced to blow some dude's head off... She proceeds, totally covered in his blood.
It's also nice to see a female character that can hold her own. I'm really getting sick of weak and weepy damsel in distress stereotype that is still perpetuated in today's games (the recent Far Cry 3 trailer). Tomb Raider really looks to be worth checking out. Let's just hope it isn't terribly linear.
