building a new pc

Hi, Im planing on building a new pc for gaming only. Would i benefit from having the new Asus Crosshair V Formula-Z using an AMD fx 6300 or 4300 with 3 way sli 660 ti or intel 2 way sli 660 non ti configuration for gaming. Right now I have a Dell 531 AMD 4800+ with gt 520.

No. That setup just doesn't make sense. And you didn't mention a budget but a "cookie cutter" build would be a i5-3570k + 100-150$ Z77 motherboard, and a single GTX 670 or HD 7970.

You dont benefit at all from getting an expensive motherboard, unless it has some speciel features you really need.

And I really dont see the point in doing 3-way SLI with 660's. in my opinion it would make more sense to get a core i5 and a single 670 or 680 or maybe AMD 7970. You can always go SLI in a little while if you want more power..
