Thanks to Lenovo Legion and Intel for sponsoring this content while not pushing us to be biased. We take a look at their T730 gaming PC. Check out this system: www.lenovo.com/us/en/desktops-and-all-in-ones/legion-desktops/legion-t-series-towers/Lenovo-Legion-T730-28ICO/p/99LE9700308
We know most of you build your own PCs, so this might be for a broader audience than our core. However, Lenovo Legion is doing some interesting things here and wants our feedback. You can configure it in a variety of different ways; this one features the Intel i7 8700k, an ASUS Nvidia GTX 1060, 16GB of DDR4 at 2666 MHZ, and a custom Lenovo motherboard.
The bios is really locked down and there aren’t many overclocking options there. If you want to OC you will need to install Lenovo’s utility and do a basic flip of the switch. It’s really designed to allow those who have never overclocked, or who don’t want to get their hands too dirty, to be able to overclock without fussing. It’s a limitation for hardcore users, but safer for people who just want a gaming PC.
Otherwise, the price goes up and down and you can check their site to see how your favorite hardware configuration is priced.
