Here is a video showing off a level in Beyond Good and Evil 2. It's all in the details.
The attention to detail is insane. The graphics might not be as good as Crysis 3 or similar but the art and the style more than make up for it.
I'm way too into Beyond Good and Evil so I will just post the video and shut up.
Also, I have no idea what this song is all about.

posted 1 year 6 days agoMeh, I can't say I'm really impressed with this to be honest. The game just looks like it would be something that would come out for the original Xbox. The gameplay is probably what is going to make this game, but the art style is limited by the graphics capabilities, and the graphics are pretty bad.
The art style isn't exactly anything out of the ordinary either, so I can't really give it any kudos for originality.

posted 4 months 1 week agoFinally a game in an Indian setting. I saw in other trailers of it that it even has hindi dialog. The video here shows a delapidated Indian street and household. And the song(what on earth someone put this song in the video for) is kind of from a 15 year old Bollywood Movie "Dil Se...", songs name is "Chaiyya Chaiyya...". Hoping the game will be up to something good.

posted 4 months 1 week agoLooks very nice, except you'd think that with so much attention to detail they'd notice that the bloom is set to "If the Human Eye had the Dynamic Range of a 1980s Digital Camera".
It'd be great if the art directors for games stepped outside their basements once in a while and saw what the world actually looked like.
