We all knew about Zenimax Online Studios, we just weren't sure what they were working on. Some said they were working on a Fallout MMO, others said an Elder Scrolls MMO, and then there was always the possibility that they were creating something totally (no).
Today, Zenimax has announced that they have been making an MMO set in the Elder Scrolls universe. It is said to take place a millennium before Skyrim. There aren't many details but we do know that there will be three battling factions, solo questing, public dungeons, and PvP.
This is either going to be the most amazing thing ever, or a total failure. I'm a little worried since it is being made by Zenimax Online Studios and not Bethesda, but I'm sure there will be some Bethesda dudes keeping things moving in the right direction. The Elder Scrolls universe is one of the richest the PC RPG world has. Let's hope they don't screw this up. There has yet to be a bad Elder Scrolls game.
There say a trailer will be released tomorrow. I'll post it as soon as I see it.

posted 1 year 2 weeks agoI was pretty bummed when I found out that the fallout MMO was cancelled..Interplay was working on it but bethesda bought out the name "Fallout" So they cancelled development :(

posted 1 year 2 weeks agoIt's running on the hero engine, the same engine as the TORtanic. I have no hopes for any MMO these days. Can't say I'm surprised Zenimax is giving a shot at this market.
